La Vieille Ferme, rosé 2005

Summer is at the door (in this hemipshere) and what better wine to enjoy as an appetizer on the terrasse than a fine rosé. La Vieille Ferme is a Côtes-du-Ventoux appellation located on the Mount Ventoux where it benefits from the regular sunning of Provence to produce fruity and fresh wines in their youth. The climate fresher than that of the Côtes du Rhone involves a later maturation and thus a smaller alcoholic strength. It is what makes this rosé extremely successful in its 2005 vintage with its constant rosy color and its aromatic and inviting nose of strawberries, raspberries and flowers. La Vieille Ferme is a refreshing wine gorged with fruits, round and generous. Surely one of the good quality-price ratio into rosé this year.

Serve it at 12 °C with spaghetti primavera, porks kebabs, smoked salmon rolls and goat's milk cheese, strawberry salad or a lobster foam with red peppers.
