Vinho regional Alentejano Cortes de Cima 2002

Here's a new arrival from Portugal that I saw this week and it tasted so good that I thought I would share it with you even if it is a little bit more expensive than usual. Tasty, fruity and generous, it leaves finally notes of maple spices and wood. Yes wood... I can taste wood ;-)) This wine is very good with lamb. Try it.

Yet another great French wine. Sounds delicious.

It is not a French wine, for goodness sake! It is a wine from Portugal. Another wonderful Portugese red wine is the Montaria Reserva, 2006. It is available at about ten dollars, and worth every penny.
